St. Paul takes the health and safety of our community seriously. In order to continue to love our neighbors and serve our mission, our worship and community life will continue to take place in primarily virtual formats for the time being. As a phased transition to gathering in-person, we will worship outdoors on select dates throughout the summer. Worship will resume in our sanctuary at a later, yet to be defined, date. Find more information about our plans for worship here.
St. Paul's Health & Safety Task Force is reviewing information released by the CDC, State of Illinois, Metropolitan Chicago Synod, and others to develop a restoration plan and health and safety guidelines that are appropriate for St. Paul’s community and context. These guidelines, subject to church leadership and council approval, will be used to guide and inform decisions at St. Paul.
Although the state of Illinois has moved into Phase 4, St. Paul will not be opening our building or restoring in-person gatherings immediately. July is a transitional month that will allow us to make necessary modifications to our building, put up proper signage, and procure items needed to open up safely. We are hoping to open our building in a limited capacity beginning in August. Thank you for your patience in this process!
