Children’s Education
Sunday School -- “Growing in Faith”
For all children 3 years old through 5th grade.
Sunday School takes place in between worship services, 9:00am - 9:45am downstairs in the Fellowship Center. We open with songs and the story for the day followed by hands-on learning opportunities! Please register using the link below.

First Communion
First Communion Instruction is offered to all students in first grade or above. Upcoming available dates will be in Fall 2026. Contact Pastor Zak for more information.

Vacation Bible School
VBS is held in June, Monday-Thursday, 5:00pm-7:00pm. VBS is open to children ages 3 years old to 5th grade. The evening begins with a skit, then downstairs for supper. Children visit different stations for crafts, outdoor games, Bible stories, music, and science/mission projects. Cost is $10/child, with a maximum of $30/family. Questions? Contact .

Youth Education
Middle School
Middle School/Confirmation Instruction is for youth in grades 6 - 8th grade. Classes are held Wednesday evenings, from 5:30pm - 6:30pm. Confirmation is a three-year study of the Old Testament, New Testament and Lutheran doctrine. Contact for more information.
Special Events: A variety of service and social activities are scheduled throughout the year: a winter weekend retreat at Lutheran Outdoor Ministry Camp (LOMC) in Oregon IL, Feed My Starving Children, and a 5-day summer service trip.
High School
High School is open to all youth in 9th - 12th grades. With a holistic focus, we are growing spiritually, mentally, physically, & emotionally—building relationships & friendships as we learn about our faith, and discovering ways to put our faith into action. All are welcome!
Typical activities are Feed My Starving Children, volunteering at the Outreach House, Escape Rooms, Enchanted Castle Lock-ins, serving Simple Suppers and much more!
Annual Summer Road Trips! Open to Youth in 9th-12th Grade!
Year One is the ELCA Youth Gathering, held in a metropolitan city. Year Two is a five-day camping and canoeing trip into the beautiful Minnesota Boundary Waters. Year Three is a five-day service/mission trip. Annual fundraisers include Trivia Night, Murder Mystery Dinner, Kiss-a-Pig contest, Road Rally, and Chili Cook-Off.
Family Activities
Annual activities for all St. Paul members & friends include Chicago Wolves hockey game, Chicago Dogs baseball game, Pumpkin Carving and PJs, and Pancakes with an Easter Egg Hunt.
