Wild Hope for Creation

Following the Holden prayer service on Wednesday evenings during Lent, join members of St. Paul’s Green Team as we explore how the changing environment has impacted our fellow creatures and how we can help care for God’s creation. We’ll read stories from the new book Wild Hope: Stories for Lent from the Vanishing by Gayle Boss, talking about a different endangered animal each week.

The book includes stories of 25 animals, from which we’ve chosen five to focus on:

  • March 4—Koala
  • March 11—Monarch butterfly
  • March 18—Hawksbill turtle
  • March 25—Sumatran orangutan
  • April 1—Indiana bat

There’s no need to purchase the book or read it in advance, but if you would like a copy, you can find it on christianbook.com, paracletepress.com, and Amazon.
