Getting Serious
Woh! Things are starting to get serious around here! HVAC equipment continues to be installed upstairs and down, with new boilers going in and lots of ductwork everywhere. A trench now runs the length of the basement, which is where utility lines will be placed to keep the church powered up with electricity and internet and everything else. This trench will eventually be poured over with new concrete, once the utilities have been placed. The construction team has also had to get creative about how to get their trenching equipment into the lower level- what do you think of their temporary ramp? It's exciting to imagine that in a few months this temporary opening will be expanded and enlarged into a "real" entrance to our church from the back parking lot. It's also exciting to see excavation occur in and around the lift pit, which is rapidly becoming the size of an elevator pit instead. Wahoo!
