Almost there...
Each week the lower level gets closer and closer to completion! Flooring is down, accent paint is going up, and another coat rack is hanging on the wall! Robe closets are installed back in the Choir Room and are waiting for their fresh coat of paint next. Door hardware all over the building continues to get tweaked and adjusted, in addition to our access control system. And, new doors for the East Entrance have finally been installed. Wahoo!
But what is perhaps most exciting is finally being able to use and live into our new spaces, even as they're still undergoing improvements. Having a flexible worship space is something we've dreamed of for a long time, so it's wonderful to be able to rearrange the furniture in the sanctuary to help us get closer to God and one another during the season of Lent. St. Paul children and youth are putting our lower level classrooms and Fellowship Center to the test every Sunday morning for Education activities, even with dusty floors and partially painted walls. We are hoping to "open" the rest of the lower level up soon, which includes restrooms and elevator access.
