Abatement Begins (Part 3)
Over the weekend, awesome volunteers from the church and Day Care moved everything on the lower level into previously abated areas designated for storage. Asbestos abatement is now taking place in all other areas in the basement, including the Fellowship Hall. The Day Care has reopened in their new temporary location in the North Wing. They are using the backyard of the house at 536 S Cornell as their playground. Fencing around 536, the parsonage, and the playground has been reconfigured so that the Day Care has an enclosed area, there is sufficient room for construction vehicles and activities, and Pastor Zak and his family still have room for their trampoline!
AND we had our first in-person worship in the sanctuary this Sunday! It looked and felt different than usual but it was great to be together again. Please register to join us in the weeks ahead!
