Antiracism Book Study

Antiracism Book Study

Every other Thursday, from 01/14/2021 to 03/25/2021, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

So you want to talk about race? You’re not alone. Join us as we discuss Ijeoma Oluo’s book So You Want to Talk About Race? over the course of six sessions. This book is not a personal memoir or academic treatise, but rather a book intended to be useful, for people to turn to again and again as they encounter racist encounters in their lives. Each chapter digs into a question, including, “What is cultural appropriation?” “What if I talk about race wrong?” “Why can’t I touch your hair?” and “Talking is great, but what else can I do?”
