Children from 3 years old through 5th grade will enjoy being together, learning, singing and praying at one of the programs designed especially for them.
A New Approach to Sunday School
“Children have an innate sense of the presence of God. The Godly Play approach helps them to explore their faith through story, to gain religious language and to enhance their spiritual experience through wonder and play. Based on Montessori principles and developed using a spiral curriculum, the Godly Play method serves children through early, middle and late childhood and beyond.”
Godly Play, for children in Preschool - Grade 5, takes place on Sunday mornings between services. Children should go to their respective classrooms on the lower level by 9:20am. Classroom teachers will guide children to the Godly Play classroom at the appropriate time. September through May.
